DESCRIPTION:This is a major\, nation-wide protest. DAD members are encouraged to participate in the local No Kings protest organized by the the Downtown Dripping Democracy Defenders. \nThe message for this “No Kings” protest: Voting Early Is How We Use Our Power:  Voting early means your voice is locked in and safe\, days before anyone else can decide what happens next\, and it gives you room to fix anything that goes wrong\, a signature mismatch\, a missing form\, waiting in a line that’s too long\, or not being able to make it if your shift runs late. \nThe No Kings event happens on Saturday\, October 17 from 9 to 11 AM\, at the corner of 290 and 12. \nThis protest happens on the same weekend as the Dripping Springs Music Festival\, so parking could be challenging. You may find parking on the residential streets behind the Walgreens.
